Resizing boxes

1. Describe the bug/issue you’re running into?
when trying to resize a shape, you have to resize the horizontal and vertical dimensions separately, instead of being able to drag one of the corners in//out. would be nice to have one of the corners be a dynamic resize without locking in the aspect ratio

2. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps?
clicking and dragging any of the corners only allows resizing in a locked aspect ratio

3. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc.

4. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both?

5. What OS/version and/or browser/version are you using?

I actually can’t resize any of my boxes vertically or when I am able to it’s random and I can’t figure out how to trigger the cursor to vertically resize.

Yes, agree with this resizing boxes problem. After copy/paste texts and delete some of them, the compenent keep the same height.

Same here, its really finicky! I wish we could bring in some of the snap to text functionality that the design side of figma has.

It’s seems that if a component is brought in, it only supports scaling not resizing. Would definitely need to support both though! I can’t make a card component longer to fit controls now 😦

Resizing is an issue when you paste content.
