Why doesn't the Professional Team subscription include 3 free FigJam files?

Previously, I had a Free team where I was able to create at least one FigJam file within a project and allow my partner to edit it. After upgrading the team to the Professional level, I selected one seat in Figma (for myself) and nothing for FigJam, hoping that I would still be able to edit my single FigJam Board. However, when I later tried to open the existing FigJam, I was asked to purchase an additional paid seat for FigJam.

It turns out that in a Starter Team, I can access FigJam Starter Team features, but in a Professional Team, I can’t use FigJam at all. Maybe I’m missing something, but doesn’t this seem a bit strange?

Hey @Evgeny_Nadel, sorry for the confusion!

It’s sounds like you’re trying to use FigJam using the same Team that is already associated with your Pro plan. But without paying for a FigJam seat, this isn’t possible.

As a workaround, I would create a new Team and choose the Starter plan option. Then, move your existing FigJam file to this Starter team to regain edit access. On a Starter FigJam plan, you can still have 3 collaborative FigJam files as well as Unlimited personal FigJam drafts.
