Users are unable to view the “Share” link for prototypes

The prototypes have been incredibly inconsistent in their ability to be viewed from the shareable link in the past few weeks. I don’t think it is a memory issue that has been suggested in the previous posts as I have never received an error or seen any significant memory usage from the View tab.

Can I get assistance for this issue? I am having trouble finding a solution…

Hey @Jacob_Park1 are you still running into issues here? When you say they can view the prototype does this meant they have access but the file never loads? Do you know if there are any console errors when this happens?

I’m not sure if there are console errors that occur, I honestly am not sure.

Does this issue occur in the app, in the browser, or both? If your users haven’t tried yet, could you please let them test each option to see if there’s any difference?

Also, could you please let them try these three basic troubleshooting steps to see if there’s any difference?

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.
