I’ve created a simple infographic in Figma to test the features specifically I have placed clickable links to send the user to specified url’s.
When using the ‘preview mode’ in the online Figma editor this works fine – so the implementation of the links should be correct. But when I use the embed code I can’t seem to click on the elements to navigate the user to the urls linked under them.
I’ve tried this on my own page and on 2 embed code testing websites to be sure the issue wasn’t related to my own page.
I checked in with our support team, and they’d like to see a screen recording of how the behavior shows up for you when you try to embed.
I just filed a support ticket on your behalf, and someone on the support team will be reaching out shortly. If you can reply to the email you should have received from you with the mentioned screen recording, that would be incredibly helpful.
Hello @ksn, I have a similar issue.
I’m trying to embed a FigJam in a web page, but the links to other nodes in the file don’t work, only external links. The links to other nodes work when I open the file directly in FigJam.
Here I have an example in Figma (but the same happens in FigJam files as well).
@Adrian_Cerbaro - thanks for the link! Can you also provide a screen recording of how this surfaces for you? That perspective is helpful to provide, because testing on our end directly doesn’t always show us how the problem appears for you.
Feel free to post that here as a response, or PM it to me.
If there should be some use of this community please post the solution too. Very annoying to find the topic but without anyone posting the answer… thanks!
Hi @ksn! I tried to upload the video, but it’s too big, so I couldn’t.
You can clearly see the issue happening with the example I provided before. If you click on “Link to Sticky Note” in the embedded iframe, nothing happens, but if you open the file in Figma and click on it, it redirects you to the yellow stick note.
I’m currently in contact with the technical team via Figma support. They have confirmed the issue and are investigating it further. Once I have a fix, I’ll post it here to help others with the same issue.
