I’m struggling to explain this exactly, but I often find myself thinking about this when working with visuals that involve multiple elements. Whenever I try to select something, the standard box selection just doesn’t work for what I want to achieve.
I haven’t seen this feature in any other software, so I’m not sure if it’s even possible, but here’s my idea: What if there was a way to change the selection method? Instead of using a box, you could use a line, almost like the pen tool, and anything that the line crosses, in any direction, would be selected on that layer.
Does something like this exist already, and I’m just missing it?
