I believe it is a known issue that the link for mentions in comments may not take you to the proper location.
Has anyone considered adding the notification number to the email. It would allow me to efficiently find the comment and provide my input.

When working on projects with 100+ comments (including replies, etc.), it’s easy to lose the comment when you click from the email notification into the Figma board.
I would love for the email notification to have the comment number included, whether it’s an initial comment or a reply.
Thank you!
Hello - We’re handling a good number of comments in this development build, and have been referencing them by number. We feel like there’s value in adding the comment number to the email notification for easy referencing, as well as putting the comment number in the view and edit comment dialogs that appear when selecting a comment. Right now the only place we see the numbers referenced is in the comment sidebar.
Apologies if this is a duplicate post!
Comment Notification: Hyperlinking in the email is good, but having a reference to the comment # will make it excellent. There are many use-cases where comments are internally referred to using comment #. Moreover, Figma are so dynamic during the design phase as things move and many comments don’t move with them.
