Prototype mode - Flow points won't show

Having a really weird issue when viewing a prototype, the flow points me and my team are making to match our research interview guides are simply not showing. This seems to only affect when viewing in browser with the share link. Viewing a prototype in the native app and in a tab seems to work just fine.

We have the first flow point, then nothing below. This is making our research a bit harder because of the need for us to be able to reset complex interactions back to our designated flow point.

Anyone else hitting this issue? if so how have you fixed?

Some other details:

Things that didn’t work:

  1. Renaming flow points
  2. Adjusting settings and resharing
  3. coping URL and making tweaks to it
  4. hitting refresh like a madman

I’m having the same issue. Happened during a presentation, which was not so nice. Prototype worked for weeks, even duplicating the file doesn’t help.

oh during a presentation would be the worst! it happened to us during user testing, and was able to select the flow point link from the desktop app and post it in the chat.

But there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what flow points show, and which don’t

Ive been having this issue too! Please help!!!

Things that didn’t work for me:

  1. Rebuilding all of the flows from scratch
  2. Creating a totally new file
  3. Having another designer try to prototype it
  4. Restarting my computer
  5. Trying all of the above on the desktop client and in browser

Thanks for reporting! Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working on a fix. We’ll do our best to update this thread once the fix goes live (hopefully next week)

Trying to help here. Since the problem didn’t go away these are the things that didn’t help:

  1. Rebuilding all of the flows from scratch
  2. Creating a totally new file

What did indeed help was, that my flows were in different “sections” (the new feature for organizing and are different to frames). Deleting them did help me. They seem to supress the flows.

Thanks @Stephan_Loewe for the updates! I can see how sections as a new feature borks flows, I’m going to test it out with an old prototype file and see if that works for me, will update after I test it out.

Any headway on this? Thanks!

Hey, this should’ve have been fixed already. Are you still experiencing issues?

I had the same problem. I had a section grouped and simply ungrouped it and it fixed the problem for me. I only had one out of 11 flows not working. I hope this helps!
