We have some funny noises inside of the alpha after exporting in png. Especially visible in gradients when they are open up in Photoshop.
Hey @Melanie13, thanks for bringing this up! I understand how frustrating it can be to noise in gradients after exporting.
When you’re exporting an image from your file, you can select the color profile - for example, you can select "same as document color profile (sRGB) or explicitly select “sRGB”; however, those settings don’t embed the sRGB color profile into the exported file.
According to this article from Adobe’s Help Center, when you import an image that has no embedded color profile, Photoshop defines the colors in the image, which may be causing the color discrepancy: Color-managing imported images
I’d recommend searching for a Figma plugin to explicitly embed the sRGB profile when exporting the image, or you could also use a tool, such as Photoshop itself, to embed the color profile.
Feel free to let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!
