Good afternoon. Why don’t new users have the option to switch to the old design, even though you claim that any user can switch to the old design? You just force them to work in a new interface that is completely not convenient

While UI3 is still in beta, users on paid plans, as well as users who created their account prior to June 2024, will be able to toggle back to the previous UI.
Can you please confirm if you’ve created your Figma account after June 2024?
Then unfortunately, at this moment you won’t be able to see the option “Go back to previous UI” to return to the previous UI.
However, I’ve passed this feedback onto the teams as the team is currently working on a fix for this issue.
That said, it might be worth adjusting to the new UI now. I know it’s challenging, but getting familiar with the latest version could save you time and effort down the road. Plus, we have a helpful article that breaks down the new UI, which really helped me: Navigating UI3: Figma’s New UI.
Also you can find plenty of resources in YouTube.
It’s also important to note that this new UI is here to stay and will eventually become the standard for everyone, so getting used to it now could be beneficial. All the functionality is still there; it’s just laid out differently. And don’t forget, if you get stuck, the community forum is a great place to ask questions—everyone’s super helpful.
If you still prefer the old UI, you do have currently the option to upgrade to the professional plan, which allows you to revert back to the previous version. But personally I’d recommend to have an eye on the release notes.
