Whenever I manually input a value into any fields, after I press enter the value is applied and the field becomes unselected. This is fine for when I know exactly the number I want. But more often I just try out a couple of options, like padding or dimensions to see what fits better.
In Sketch the field stays active, so I input a value, like 8, press enter, see how it looks and then just press another number on my keyboard without having to select the 8 I just put in it again.
It’s not a problem for me to unselect a value in a field by clicking anywhere on the screen or pressing Esc, because with this I would signal completion of my intended action, there is no need to do that for me.
Now it is quite frustrating because as soon as I hit Enter and press any number, it just changes the opacity of my selected object.
