Frame names

Hi @D1119, Thank you for reaching out! I’ve just double-checked on my end, and I can see the frame names in the layers section of the left sidebar and also on the canvas as usual.

We’d like to gather more details about your situation in order to know your idea better.
To kickstart the troubleshooting process, could you please follow the steps outlined below?

• Are you working with Figma Design or Figma Slides?
• Are you unable to see the name in the “Layers” section on the left sidebar, canvas, or other areas?
• Does this issue occur specifically on the Desktop app, or does it also happen on supported browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, or perhaps on both platforms?
• Have you attempted basic troubleshooting steps such as:
  • Closing unused Figma tabs,
  • Browser: Force-quitting and reopening Figma in a new browser window
  • Figma Desktop app: force-quitting and relaunching
• Would clearing the app or browser cache resolve the issue?

If you’ve tried the above steps but are still encountering the issue, would you mind sharing a recording of the problem?

In that case, capturing the full Figma screen with the left and right-hand panels in the recording would be incredibly helpful for our community to visually understand what you are facing.

its working on desktop in a weird way where there is the frame name and a shadow but not working on my brave browser

For your desktop app, what troubleshooting step do you already tried?

For the brave browser, unfortunately, it’s not currently included in our supported browsers.

I cleared cache and for the browser it used to work before how come now it is not supported. I have always used brave
