Fonts missing/ iPhone Prototype mode

Hi there,

If anyone can please help me with two things:

  1. Why when I open the app on my iPhone does a message pop up saying some missing fonts were replaced when in prototype mode? The font of the “Confirm” button which is in Helvetica is then not as I have it set. The Button does have some variables to reset Time/ Date selections after a delay but not sure if that is the issue?

  2. When I open Prototype Mode on the Figma app on my iPhone and view my Prototype some of the variables I have set no longer function as they should? But when I view the Prototype on the desktop app it works perfectly fine?

Appreciate you taking the time to help out. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there,

Thanks for flagging! In order to delve deeper into this, could you provide some additional details?

  • Could you specify the font used in the prototype?
  • Are you using the latest version of the Figma app?
  • Are you using Figma mirroring feature or checking the prototype in your iOS app?

Sorry for the lots of questions but I hope to identify the issue!

Thanks,
Toku

Hey there thanks for getting back to me!

The Botton reverts to a unbolded font when any buttons are pushed on the screen & says,“Some missing fonts were replaced.”

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

Thanks for waiting! I checked on my end, and I can’t replicate it on my end. The below is a general troubleshooting for missing fonts, but it seems the issue is different:

So, could you reach out directly to the support team with a copy of your file: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?

Please make sure you use the email associated with your Figma account, include links to the file in question, and share access with support-share@figma.com. Don’t worry, inviting us to view your file won’t impact your billing.

Thanks,
Toku
