It’s been few weeks since AI feature started rolling out but I still don’t see it. Is there anything I should do to activate it?
I’m trying to find ‘frame’ to use ‘Fixed’ feature. Where can i find this panel?
Im creating a prototype and would like to link to live pages on our site without having the User in the test have to see the “Leaving Figma Warning” page. My concern is that it takes it breaks the illusion of an actual experience. Is there a way remove this middle page from the experience?
Over the last few months Figma has started to run very slow. Even when performing simple tasks like deleting pages or publishing components, the difference in performance is extremely noticeable. I either see the loading spinner for way longer than I should or the icon in the top bar that indicates Figma is struggling to save changes. This is having an big impact on my (and my colleagues) productivity. Please can you investigate and report back?
When sharing, I would love to be able to specify a specific slide to link to. This will allow more fine tune sharing. If the url was appended with something like “slide-1” it would allow for us to create dynamic and easily editable links in our Airtable as well. We are using slides as a creative review workflow and this would help us tremendously!
I was using Figma on Chrome when an error occurred, and the file didn’t save. Upon checking, I noticed that some file pages were deleted. I tried undoing the changes using Ctrl+Z, but it only worked up to a certain limit. Can you suggest a solution?
I’m encountering some issues with Figma; regardless of whether the file has many pages or few, the operations are very laggy. I’ve tried changing my network and using a VPN, but neither has made a significant difference. What should I try now?
Dear Figma Support Team, I'm experiencing slow performance with the Figma Desktop App on my MacBook Pro (2019, Intel UHD Graphics 630 & AMD Radeon Pro 5300M, MacOS 13.7.1). File loading often takes up to 5 minutes, causing system-wide lag. I've tried the official troubleshooting methods, including clearing the cache, but the issue persists. I have disabled the "Automatic graphics switching" option in the system settings to ensure the dedicated GPU is used. But I noticed the integrated GPU is at near 100% usage during loading, while the discrete GPU remains inactive. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards
I’ve been using Crt+Cmd+{Arrow keys} to align objects left/right/top and bottom. For example Control+Command+Left arrow key to Align Left and Control+Commend+Down Arrow key to align to BottomThese were additional shortcuts along with Alt+{A/W/S/D}. I think after last figma update the additional Align left and Align right shortcuts (CTR+CMD+Left/right arrow keys) are not working. So. when I press Ctr+CMD+Arrow Left to Align Left, The object(s) resizes. (meaning it ignores the Ctrl key and just does CMD arrows which is resizing shortcut) However the Align Top and Bottom however works fine.(i.e. Ctr+Cmd+Top/Bottom aligns to Top and Bottom respectively)[I am on Figma Desktop App version 124.6.5 and MacOS version 12.7.6 ] Its very frustrating for me personally for me because I’ve been aligning things this way for years and this was the top if not the only reason to use desktop app and after this feature broke, I haven’t been able to figure out a workaround so far...I tried App keyboard shor
[URGENT] Hi, since this morning I can’t access my file on the Figma app when I’m the owner but when I’m on the web browser I do have access (so not a licence problem). Please help as I need to work on the file asap. Thanks!
I finally figured out it wasn’t possible, but why shouldn’t I be able to? Steps to reproduce: Create a frame Create another frame inside Try converting the inner frame into a section (right-click) Observe the “Convert to section” option is not available. To make it a section, you’ll have to know to convert the outer frame to a section. It seems like the only situation where covering a frame to a section is not possible. I don’t have a clear use case for it, but I’d expect to have the ability to. It’s not urgent.
The company I work for is looking to upgrade to an Organizational plan. we’ve reached out many times with no reply. Please take our money!! :)
Dear Figma Support Team, I am writing to inquire about the current support for color fonts in Figma. As a designer, I greatly appreciate the versatility and creative possibilities that color fonts bring to my work. I have recently been experimenting with various color font formats, such as OpenType-SVG and COLR/CPAL, which allow for intricate multi-colored typography. However, I have encountered some challenges when attempting to utilize these fonts within Figma’s design environment. It appears that Figma currently lacks full support for color fonts, as I have experienced difficulties with the proper rendering and editing of these fonts within the platform. It would be immensely beneficial if Figma could extend its capabilities to fully embrace color fonts, enabling designers like myself to fully explore the potential they offer. Color fonts have become increasingly popular, allowing for more expressive and engaging designs across various mediums. With their ability to incorporate vibr
Oh boy this could have caused a lot of headaches if I didn’t catch this… I do not have “Simple Design System” from Figma added to this file as a library, as indicated by the not-selected “Add to file” button: (the only reason I see it in the library list at all is cause I took the screenshot after dragging in the wrong component) I did a search for the “textarea” component that we have in our own custom design system that IS added as a library, and this is what I saw: No red flags yet, doesn’t say which library this belongs to, naturally I assumed this was our textarea component I dragged it in and now it tells me where it came from (very easy to miss though) I appreciate whatever Figma’s trying to do to help here but I need to neeeeever ever ever see this design system. I don’t know why it came up when I searched in the Assets panel. Removing that one instance of the component removes any mention of Simple Design System, but if I search for components again it will still bring up thos
