Figma Freezes When Adding or Copy-Pasting Slides from Published Deck Template

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering some issues with Figma while working on a slide deck template:

  1. When I publish the deck and attempt to use it in a new project, Figma freezes whenever I try to add a slide from the published deck.
  2. Additionally, when working within the template deck, if I copy a slide and try to paste it into another deck, the paste operation gets stuck.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could there be a specific cause, or is there a workaround to resolve this freezing issue?

Thanks for flagging this issue. I tested it on my end, and it seems to be working find on my end.

Could you try the troubleshooting below?

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.
