Laggy here as well since recent updates.
So laggy that I might have to prototype on another tool.
I am ecountering the same issues since updating Figma. My computer was running fast prior to this. I have cleared cache, restarted Figma, opened new artboards etc. The lag is so bad I am losing hours a day on client work.
Lastly. I went into my Mac activity monitor and Figma CPU and memory is extremely high even when closing and re-opening!
I hope there is a solution soon!
Iām finding the same lagging issue. I tried to follow the clear cache tutorial, but I couldnāt find the help and troubleshoot links. So I tried doing it through my PowerShell. Entered %APPDATA%\Figma and threw an error where it said The module ā%APPDATA%ā could not be loaded. I donāt know what to do after that.
Really bad lagging. This issue has been going on since August!!

MBP M3 was running super smooth but since the new updateā¦ really bad!
Iāve tried every solution clearing caches help for 15min after back to slowā¦ Please fix ASAP

Same here. Figma is virtually unusable. If this continues, we will be forced to move to another tool. Itās incredible that Figma is not able to fix this, as it is going on for months and if affects so many people. For me, it seemed to start getting slow after the UI update (which has brought no improvement whatsoever)ā¦
