In a list of design files some have a black “pen” icon while others have a blue one. What is the difference? When these files are opened those with a blue icon use this as the tab’s favicon, while those with a black icon use a different tab favicon entirely (the “library” icon). At first I thought this might be because of pending library updates but that’s not the case, so what explains the difference?
The book icon is a library file. The pen icon is a design file. As for whether its blue or black depends if you’re actively on that tab or not.
Thanks @Raphael_M. That makes sense about the library file, but as shown in this image, there’s an inconsistency in how library file icons are shown in a list of design files versus the tab’s favicon. BTW I’m using the new UI ( Figma Desktop App version 124.3.2).
Oh. Yeah. The components and variables must be published before it will be considered as a Library file. May I know what assets are published on the “Has published components”? Maybe you have to reload it or that’s a bug
