Export text characters (instead of vectors) for editable, smaller PDFs

I love that I can do 90% of traditional page design work in Figma 10x faster than I can in Adobe products. But the PDF export is very limiting because it turns every single text character into an SVG in the finished PDF, making the PDF unreadable by other applications, unable to be indexed by search, and uneditable by tools like Acrobat. And that’s not to mention that the resulting file is often 10-100x the size that it would be if using traditional font characters rather than SVGs.
