Is it possible to embed a youtube video into Figma Slides?
Hello @Ana16, Thank you for reaching out about this!
Currently, it seems that embedding YouTube into Figma Slides is not possible, unlike FigJam interactive previews.
However, this is a fantastic feature request, so I have moved this topic to the “Share an Idea” category and shared this feedback with our internal team. The team is already aware of this need and is actively working on it.
If anyone from our community agree with this idea, please feel free to vote/comment to show your support.
Thank you once again for your valuable input!
I would love this too.
Waiting for this feature, maybe more control over the video component : play/pause icons, to be able to see this is actually a video and not an image. (because the person who made the presentation won’t be necessary the one presenting it.) Plus the possibility to drag through the video timeline + Being able to reset (or not) the state of the video when you leave the slide.
Thanks
ONE HUNDRED MILLION BILLION PERCENT.
I’m a director and deck designer, and I build all sorts of gorgeous decks for myself and others. Absolutely would use — and spread the word of — Figma Slides if we could embed links to Vimeo and YouTube, not to mention upload gifs and movs. Having full page videos playing, or a gallery of live links to references and touchstones is an absolute must, so no one in the biz would currently use Slides for pitches and presentations.
Really just treat Figma Slides as an ANYTHING GOES! presentation tool!!! The richer and more capable the better.
Big luv
I could definitely use this feature, feels very basic to slides/presentations and is available in other slides apps
I’de love to see this feature too please!
