Hello @Dylan_Jones2 ! Can you please specify a bit more how you would like to copy and paste GIF?

As a reminder, to insert a GIF on FigJam:

  1. Hover over the pile of recently used icons in your toolbar.
  2. Click the More button to open the modal.
  3. Select the More tab.
  4. Select Images.
  5. Choose a GIF from your computer

Tip! You can also use the keyboard shortcut ⌘ CommandShiftK / ControlShiftK to add GIFs.

For more information, here is our guide on Place images, video, and GIFs in FigJam.

Hey, thanks for your reply, only saw it now, apologies for the delay in reply on my side.

Expected behavior:

  1. I find an animated giff on the internet
  2. I cope and paste / upload it to FigJam
  3. I see the animated giff looping, on the FigJam file

Miro does this. Seems like something FigJam should have

For example, if I copy and paste this into a FigJam board, the animated giff is no longer animated, it is static.

Hey there, thanks for clarifying!
I confirm this is not possible at the moment to copy and paste directly on FigJam with the gif looping/animated. It is an intended behaviour that it stays static.

I’ve gone ahead and switched your topic as ‘Share an Idea’ so others can vote up your idea. Thank you!
