Disconnected from Internet on figma desktop after search failed

I am consistently disconnected after search failed

I can see no cause and effect relationship but it consistently occurs nearly each time.

  1. Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation
    (e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc.

Sometimes, I just wait a few minutes before relaunching figma desktop and it connects again, but often I have to completely reboot the computer.

Suddenly my desktop Figma is “disconnected” and is waiting to reconnect. I have a fiber connection with nearly 1TB up and down. Not sure what to do about my “unsaved changes” that are waiting to reconnect. :man_shrugging:t4:

normally your change is saved locally and will be resynced when connected but don’t know if it is reliable.

I believe this needs to be looked into a bit deeper (and beyond what the community can provide).
