Hello community!
Again and again the Figma versioning issues …
Here is my need:
I provide consumers with the opportunity to work on either:
The latest version let’s call it 1.2.0
Or the earlier version, named 1.1.0
For all libraries attached to the component file: (colors, typography, assets, etc.)
Local files: consumers have access to local files ordered by version date
Assuming that the DS team makes an evolution of a Cards component on version 1.2.0,
how is it possible for the consumer to continue calling the Cards component of version 1.1.0 through the list of libraries associated with its working file?
Is refusing to update the component the only possible option for the designer?
Is it better to have version 1.1.0 and version 1.2.0 in the Figma files or should the versions appear in branches of the Components file? (amended)
