Before it was possible to use a modifier key like CTRL
Example:
I use CTRL + Shift + A for my Shortcuts plugin to set Align between Items on “Fixed”. This was working fine for years.
Suddenly it executes add Autolayout (Shift + A) even though the Shortcut is correctly applied and visible in die macOS menubar. So its ignoring the CTRL modifier key now.
Hi @Thilo_Becker2, Thanks for reaching out about this. I understand that it can be frustrating when things don’t work the way they used to.
Currently, Figma doesn’t have a built-in feature for assigning custom shortcuts. It seems you might be using the Create keyboard shortcuts for apps on Mac function.
I’ve tested this by assigning [CTRL + Shift + A] to a function under the Plugins menu, and it added Auto Layout as you mentioned. It might be intended behavior, but I’ll check internally to see if there’s any information about this to assist.
In the meantime, you might want to try exploring other combinations that could work for you. Moreover, if anyone has insight or workaround for this, please let us know.
