The plugin manifest got disconnected, add plugin via manifest

in that case there is no way to connect the manifest again?
I just sent you a screenshot of what you need to do. It would be automatically “linked” to your published plugin by manifest id. It won’t break anything or do anything bad, it would just allow you to be able to publish your plugin updates like you want.
