With all the layers going on, on any page, it would be useful to be able to highlight layers with a couple of colours for an easy overview. Like a colour tag or something simple. See example.
It would help in the structure of early design stages when trying things out and not thinking about naming layers and so on.
It could be useful to start with about 6 colours, contrast accessible of course.
