UI2 had that tiny blue dot to indicate that there are library updates and a convenient button to open the library dialgo to do the updates. Now they are apparetly both gone and I needed them.
Please add comparatable functionality to UI3.

Granted, the new strategy of “hiding stuff until it’s needed” is pushed to (or even a little bit beyond) its limits. However, it is still there once you actually make/push changes to/from a library. And I agree, it is a bit of an opaque UX. You don’t know it’s there until it is there. What’s more, there is no distinction between pushing changes of a library and fetching changes from other libraries.
This is especially in the way when you want to receive changes from other libraries before pushing changes to a specific library. Pushing the book icon defaults to changes from this library, and introduces room for error (whoops, I pushed changes that were not ready yet!).
Here’s what it looks like if there are no changes to push from my library, no icon visible:

…and finally, what it looks like when there are changes to fetch from other libraries:
Thank’s, I sincerely hate it.
Now, to keep everything up to date, I get to learn to reflexively look at 20x20 pixel area for an icon that may or may not be there.
