Would be great to have:
- Paste (Import) a component, frame, etc. from Figma
- Make changes to that component or frame in Figma → Changes are synchronized with FigJam (possibly with a review)
Would be great to have:
Echoing what has already been said - FigJam’s major benefit over miro/mural etc is it’s (as of now mostly hypothetical) native Figma integration. If that is half-baked, then it is hard to justify moving over to FigJam exclusively.
The technical capability is clearly there, so I wonder what the hold up is. Is the plan to simply to keep FigJam at that ‘good enough’ level and continue charging a pittance instead of actually making a competitive product? Is there just a conflict on the product side between making something accessible for the masses vs a powerful tool for designers?
The cynic in me is expecting all those granular controls to eventually be implemented but locked behind a new pricing tier ala dev mode…
Ditto - this is becoming a deal breaker for our design team.
We need the ability to auto-update / sync our Figma artboard updates to show in FigJam without having to copy and paste.
wouldnt it be cool if your pages went
cover page whatever title you have
FigJam page of research
then your Figma pages you are working on
so you don’t have to go BACK plz I beg
Can’t believe we’re still talking about this. Just build it already!
It’s crunch time for me. My company is shutting off my MIRO licence in favour of FigJam at the end of the year so I NEEEEEEED sync. It’s a painful workflow without it.
It’s terrible. You still don’t have this feature, but different competitors have. Awfull,Awfull,Awfull…
May be you have it in a progress? And some planned dates?
Hi, we also need this feature desperately. We are using overflow at the moment and it’s cumbersome to manage two tools. We also love the collaboration features in FigJam which overflow is bad at.
Dear Figma, 🙏 please can you prioritise this feature.
FigJam would literally be useful for so many. Right now, most people are shuffling between Miro and Overflow to achieve something that is so critical in our handover processes.
I’m struck that not a single Figma member has commented or responded on this.
Agreed! This would be amazing 🙌
I totally agree that this would be a very helpful feature. I just tried to copy a live embed of a frame into FigJam. If this updated automatically, you could save hours of maintaining updated screens within flowcharts. Adobe makes this possible in a similar way with the help of Smart Objects, which update semi-automatically when something changes in the saved base file.
I NEED THIS NOW! Please.
Hey there, we would love this feature as well!
it’d be great to have this feature. thanks.
This would be something our teams would be interested in as well… so I’m bumping
Now it’s 2024 and I am still waiting.
Please build this feature !!! We need this to make our delierables to the dev team more efficiently!!!
Yes please! 🙌
This would be great!
This was one of the first things I was checking for in Figma when I shifted over to it. I used to sync XD with Overflow, which was incredibly useful, enabling me to create visual user flows in Overflow based on my XD designs. Any tweaks I then made to the original designs could be updated in the Overflow doc with a single click.
However, Overflow has so many issues, and it doesn’t feel like any of them are being updated.
The user flow tools in FigJam are excellent, so much more solid than Overflow, but sadly there is no syncing with the frames in Figma, meaning I have to copy and paste designs one by one into a flow, and re-paste them if any design updates are made. Being able to sync them would be perfect for the way I create user flows.
This is a much-needed feature.
Design a frame in Figma → Copy to FigJam
Modify in Figma → Synchronise to FigJam
It’s a challenge keeping our workspace clean. We have to remove all unnecessary annotations, flow lines etc from our pages as this creates noise. We have to resort to tools like Overflow to maintain our designs and flows. Miro kinda works, but it doesn’t keep all frames up to date.
This would be such a powerful feature. Across all the teams I’ve worked at, something like this is always brought up, very much needed feature indeed.
+1 from me this is really needed one
Bump on this
Hey Figma & FigJam team,
Are there any plans for this? I doubt Figma and FigJam have the motivation due to product tiering or subscription levels, etc.
If not, could you at least announce that this feature isn’t planned? Our team is tired of waiting. If you confirm it’s not happening, we can look for another solution.
