Suggested feature - Priority/Labeling for comments

Yael_Hausner

As a product manager, I often comment on a design file, I would like to have an option to label the comment with priority - critical, high, medium, low or 1-5, so the product designer will know what to focus on first.
Furthermore:

  • Each priority color/icon should be really clear on first look over all comments to help open the most important comments.
  • The notifications section should allow sorting the comments by priority.

Also, labeling the comments could help for versions division - adding “next version” tag / “current version” tag, or in general, costume tags that match the team internal process.

Actionable items get lost in Figma comments. and we cannot differentiate between discussion comments and action items

it would be great if we can label our comments to for example “To-Do Design” or “To-Do Dev” and those comment has some visual difference so we can easily spot them on the canvas.

and in the comments side bar we can have a filter for those to dos

for Dev those comment can appear in the dev mode

+1 There should be way to visually label comment dots with labels like: “todo”, “for review”, and “question”

Hey @Yael_Hausner, thanks for the feedback!

We’ll pass this onto our collaboration team for future consideration.

I would like to plus-one this feature request. Was happy to see that someone already proposed it and am looking forward to updates on when something like it will be made available

Urgently needed it today. I have several types of comments - some of them to delegate things to do to other designers, some of them for PMs, some of them to discuss with dev team, some of them for myself.

Among those to discuss with PM would be nice to add priority or other labels
