The shift+backspace hotkey wasn’t clear to me in the UI, had to Google. I ended up getting the hotkey from an obscure, off-Figma site.

Might be some low-hanging-fruit UX spice? thx!!

I would like to request adding a simple “Delete” action in the right-click menu anywhere. When organizing layers, it’s just a simple piece of muscle memory to be able to right-click a layer and click delete. It’s not a necessity, but I’ve noticed myself spending too much time looking for “Delete” in the menu before I have to actually press delete on the keyboard.

Please implement this basic feature. This shouldn’t need voting. When one buys a car, one expects the car to have mirrors, lights, etc. This is such a feature.

Users currently have to use the delete or backspace key remove objects.

It’d be nice if we could “Delete” directly in the right-click context menu.

Benefits:

  1. Speeds up the design process.

  2. Improves workflow efficiency.

  3. Provides a more intuitive user experience.
