I’d second this as a request. It’s difficult to share overlays in specific user stories to communicate and give context to our developers when the URL only shows the parent frame, not the overlays wired to it meant to show the full interaction. Also can’t navigate to overlays with arrow keys because they only navigate between parent frames.

I completely support this request! Sharing overlays within specific user stories is a bit challenging at the moment. It’s crucial for effective communication with our developers to provide context.

+100! This would be a super useful enhancement. I like to reference prototype screens from my user flows for devs and business partners, but can not do this with screens + overlays without a unique url.

I can speak for myself here on what I’d love to see:

My intent is to share a direct URL (in present mode) to a frame that is prototyped as an overlay so that the developers/stakeholders can get the full context of what is being suggested to build.

Currently I can only share frames that are prototyped to ‘navigate’ to, not frames that ‘open overlay’ or ‘swap overlay.’ This makes it very difficult to share acceptance criteria/designs without having to take screenshots (which can create confusion as soon as they are outdated), or having to write additional notes for everyone to understand how to navigate the prototype and see everything if there are a good number of overlays in the prototype.

Ideally, if there’s a choice - display overlay as a standalone thing and when it’s displayed over the UI in the background.
