Local variables and modes visible with simplify instances

I am making components that change form by using local variables.
I would like to use the “simplify instances” selection in the master component to make it nead and usable for others, but it hides by default the local variable modes from the instances.

This is counterintuitive and unpractical in my opinion. In general i’d like to see the modes more prominent, just like the properties. (Also, right now the properties and variables are kind of an inconsistent split system of basically similar functions, and i’d like to see them more unified.)
