It would be awesome to have a icon only version of the layer side panel. Or a collapsable version of it. This was it is only a small sliver of a side panel. This would be great to gain additional screen real-estate for laptop usage.

Maybe like a photoshop style or slacks updated UI. Just food for thought, those may not be the perfect examples.
