Please correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe there’s anyway to disable the snap to grid with a keyboard shortcut.

Typically in programs I’ve used, you can disable snapping by holding CTRL or ALT. Since ALT has the functionality of duplicating the selected item, it would be nice if holding CTRL then could be used to prevent items from snapping to the grid when dragging them.

Thank you

second this, would love this feature. I can’t draw freely enough, like other whiteboards, for making wireframes

Agree, just came across this post hoping to find a way to disable it

Yes, we need the same ability as a figma file to disable snapping. Its far to rigid for a “fast” drawing tool. I run in to to many times where I am not able adjust the size of an object to the exact size I want.

checking up on this a month later, still would love this feature. It’s too hard to freely sketch UI ideas with snapping always on.

or another solution, though less ideal to turning snapping off, would be to allow a custom grid size so it can be set very small for the use case of people wanting to sketch with boxes

I requested this very feature like five years ago, so don’t hold your breath :-(

Actually, this made me do some more googling, and it turns out they DID add this feature! Press and hold the S key while moving an object, and you break out of snapping!
