A Figma Library might consist of a “Page” with several “Frames” that each contain several “Components”.

Problem: Exporting all of the components in this Library requires exporting each frame separately and manually organizing them into folders afterward.

Solution: It would be great if Figma had a “Treat Frames as Folders” export option that so every frame would be exported as a folder and the contents within each frame would be exported as files. This could all be done with a single click instead of needing a separate export operation for each frame on the page.

(This is effectively happening in the “Assets” panel already, it’s just not available when exporting.)

Taking this a step further, an “Include nested frames” option could allow provide the ability to create hierarchy of folders to be created on export based on frames within frames.

This feels like such an obvious feature, can you not do this yet? We have around 400+ icons organised into frames. How is everyone else doing this? I guess maybe including structure into the filename of the component "icons/folder-1/folder-2’ etc etc

With Sections being more important for Dev Mode, Figma should treat them as export folders as well.
