This is super important! Please make this happen surely couldn’t be difficult to implement!

@dvaliao this needs to be marked as solved.

Now it’s possible to copy projects:

While the change Rogie mentioned is Very Good for agencies, it doesn’t solve the problem I’m describing above.

I can now send a project to a client and keep a copy, but I can’t copy a project for myself. For example, if I have a “Boilerplate” project, I cannot copy that and create “Boilerplate 2”, with both projects living in my team.

+1 on this feature request. This simple action would save so much time.

+1! This would save us so much time! I’m so tired of relinking styles and variables in duplicated files. How is this still not possible? It’s been over 3 years since the first request!

This would mean a significant increase in efficiency and prevent misconfigurations.

Supplementary:

It should also be possible to duplicate the teams.

The use case is that there is a central organisation-wide workspace with 10+ independent teams. These teams should each be structured according to a standardised project scheme.

For this purpose, a ‘Kickstarter’ team would be prepared from which new teams would then be created in the correct setup.

Alternatively, an existing team can be marked ‘As template’. When creating new teams, you can then select either an ‘empty’ or ‘from template’.

Seriously?  I just spent many hours breaking Flowbite down so we could spin project off it.  You’re telling me I have to do this for every project because there is no simple Duplicate Project feature? Really??
