Agree that this would be helpful. I created a slide footer component and have to update the slide numbers in it manually.

I don’t see a way to add page numbers to the slides and I also don’t see the option to create ‘Master Slides’ in a document. Perhaps I’m missing something, but page numbers should something we can if needed and the ability to add something to all pages without doing it manually would also be helpful.

Yes please, I am mising this option as well. Also being able to name sections / slides in templates.

Even better would be able to call on page numbers in variable strings. So for example to make a progress bar for the deck or something like that.

Master pages. Master footers. Automatic page numbers (with some sort of secret text variable syntax, akin to InDesign).

Master slides and Page numbers should be obvious for any presentation software. It’s frustrating not to have it. You guys are so close to being the favourite presentation and deck design software!!

+1 to this. Essential feature to be able to number slides chronologically or automate / mass update multiple slide numbering

+1000!  I mean, Figma already gets the page numbers in preview / presentation mode dynamically. The system exists. Just need to adapt it so variable for page number is attached to the frame or section in the editor mode, like a dynamic component. This would be game changer yet so simple!
