Ability to import Photoshop files into Figma (bonus: they update dynamically)

This is functionality I used to use in Sketch, and I really miss it! Now that Adobe owns Figma, I wonder if this feature could be implemented.

I work with a team of visual designers and we use Figma for all our design files now (we love it!). But we still do more complex compositing in Photoshop. Rather than the hassle of saving a PNG every time I make a change to a graphic and re-linking it in Figma, I’d like to be able to import the .PSD and have it update as a dynamic link.

Let me know if anyone has questions about this. Thanks!

Take a look at this plugin Photoshop importer
It doesn’t offer the dynamic linking feature, but it’s a real time-saver

Actually, you might want to check out Codia AI Psd2Figma: Photoshop to Editable Figma. It allows you to import Photoshop files into Figma with fully editable layers, which could save you the hassle of exporting PNGs and re-linking them every time. This might be a great solution for your workflow until a dynamic link feature is introduced.

Let me know if you have any questions!
Here’s the plugin link.
