TL;DR: Changes highlighted in version history snapshots. Scenario: I am working on a file with other designers and want to know what someone else did in the same file. I can pull up older version history, and see that someone else worked on the file on any date, but other than doing a visual comparison against a version that I worked on before to spot differences, I don’t know what they did. That leaves lots of room for missing something… As a collaboration tool, it would be very helpful if Figma did something similar with the history snapshots that a certain company (that rhymes with “poodle”) does with their Docs free online document editor. In the the case of Figma, when a collaborator looks at a snapshot in the version history it would highlight things that were changed in that version. It does not have to be every minute change so much, but things such as highlighting a layer that had changes made to it. Highlighting new frames that were created. Then bringing the screen focus to

Hello,As a designer, I would love the ability to customize the icon and color of my pinned design files. I have multiple pinned files, and currently, I have to hover over each one to know which is which. Being able to visually distinguish them at a glance would improve organization and workflow efficiency.

So, people were asking for more undos… because 100 wasn’t enough. So heeey - what a great idea - you turned it into what - 20 undos? 25? WHAT THE F...IGMA? heh

When you star a file as a “template” to copy and modify, you can’t even do basic file operations on the star item. This is what you can do on FILE items: And this is what you can do with STARRED items. Note that even it you “Show in Project” (which is in DRAFTS) it doesn’t show the file at all. It just shows ALL your drafts. So in order to find it you have to scroll to find the draft manually because search results also just shows the limited menu liked starred. Alternatively you have to actually open the starred draft file and then duplicate it (as the first screenshot) from the filename menu. It seems like some consistent basic file menu might solve this issue.

give the ability to create ready-made applications with the ability to download and upload a file in different languages, with the ability to use different languages to build multifunctional applications, similar to how the AI cursor works

It is possible to copy and paste individual frames from Figma Design files into the prompt box.Is it also possible to import screen flows, specifically, click-dummies created using Figma Design's prototyping functionality. If so, how?

I truly enjoy using Figma. However, there’s a small but repetitive issue I keep encountering — and over time, it becomes tiring. Every time I create a new shape, I have to manually set the "Corner Smoothing" value to the same number again and again. In reality, this is a setting that is usually defined once at the start of a project and rarely changed afterward.A simple suggestion:Let the last-used value persist automatically.Additionally, accessing this feature is unnecessarily hidden and distant in the UI, which slows down the workflow. That’s the second minor issue.I've included my own approach to this below. But if persistence is added, this visual suggestion could be considered a second improvement. In short:If something doesn’t need to be repeated but still is — there’s probably a design opportunity there. As a bonus feature, having a "Apply to all corners" button would make it even better!Thank you Figma!

I love the bulk renaming feature of Design Space, I just wish instead of only being able to rename layers, I could also bulk re-type their text content.  For example, creating the labels on a chart where you need to manually type out 20 text layers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, so on. I’d love to select the text layers, and use the “Rename 20 layers feature” to create the list. I’m not sure where that feature would best fit, but I’d use it.

To further enhance the AI capabilities within FigJam, Figma, Buzz, and other associated file types, we propose introducing project-level system prompt support. This feature would allow users to define a custom AI 'system prompt' at the project level, which would then apply as a foundational context for all AI interactions within any associated file (e.g., FigJam boards, Figma designs, Buzz documents, etc.) residing in that specific project.Key Benefits: Consistent AI Persona/Context: Ensure the AI maintains a consistent tone, style, and understanding of the project's goals, brand guidelines, or technical requirements across all files. Reduced Repetition: Eliminate the need for users to repeatedly provide the same background context to the AI within different files or individual prompts. Tailored AI Assistance: Enable more relevant and accurate AI suggestions, content generation, and analysis specific to the overarching project's domain or objectives. Streamlined Workflow: Accelera

As a passionate user, I truly love Figma for its powerful capabilities and the way it fosters creativity and collaboration. However, I am very frustrated with the current direction the platform is going, particularly with the added financial and administrative barriers for collaboration among paid users. To ensure seamless and frictionless cooperation among Figma users, we propose the following adjustments to the current collaboration and billing model: Unrestricted Collaboration Among Paid Users: Allow users with paid subscriptions (e.g., Professional, Organization plans) to collaborate on team files without additional costs. This means that if a freelancer or agency with a paid subscription joins a team project, there should be no need to pay for extra design seats, as all parties are already contributing financially to the platform. Temporary Paid Seats for Non-Paying Users: Continue offering the option to add temporary paid seats for non-paying users. This is a great solution f

Lately, I’ve been really missing the `Title` field for publishing changes. I’m surprised this was removed with UI3 now. BenefitsHelps break up Version History at a glance, instead of just having `Components published` down the entire list. Saves time later instead of having to edit version history changes with a specific title.RequestPlease bring back the `Title` field for the “Publish changes” window. Curious why this was removed? At the very least, maybe do what GitHub Commits do where the first line automatically becomes the Title, and the lines after (especially if bullets/hyphens are used), become the description automatically.

If you want to know ‘How to Cancel Crunchyroll Membership,’ this simple guide will get you there very fast. Before going with ‘how,’ let’s talk about ‘why.’ If a person has taken a certain membership and is using that service and suddenly wants to know how to cancel it, then it could be a serious issue. There could be several valid reasons, such as content limitations, multi-device streaming, support issues, subscription costs, and many more.Hence, these are the proven reasons why users usually cancel their subscriptions. Now, let’s dive into the how sections.Well, it is quite easy to perform; When you sign in to your account on the Crunchyroll website, you can terminate your current subscription. When you log in with your credentials, you can easily navigate to your account settings. After reaching out to the settings, you can find the option ‘Cancel Membership.’ This is the option from which you can easily cancel your subscription. During the cancellation, you will be asked why you wan

Hi Figma team and community, First off, I just want to say that variables have been a game changer for me and my team. They’ve helped us improve both the efficiency and accuracy of our designs in a big way.As we move toward treating our Figma files as the single source of truth for all customer-facing content, I wanted to share some feedback that might make variables even more powerful—especially for teams that are serious about using them to scale design operations.Disclaimer: I haven’t searched to see if these ideas have been raised already, so if there’s any overlap—pardon the redundancy! 1. Rich Text Formatting SupportThere are many times when a string includes things like hyperlinks, bold or colored text, or even superscripts—especially in compliance disclosures. It would be tremendously helpful if variables could support some basic rich text formatting to reflect these needs more accurately in design. 2. Composable String Variables (and Maybe Formulas?)Right now, if I want to cre

Hi guys, I've been sitting on this idea for a while now. Let me know what you guys think. The feature is called Anchor, and it allows users to drop an “anchor” on a specific location in the canvas, navigate freely to other parts of the file (to assist teammates, inspect components, etc.), and then quickly return to the anchored location with a single shortcut (e.g., pressing the space bar). This idea’s on the house… but I’ll leave my bank details here just in case you feel generous when you roll it out.😅

I’ve been playing around with Figma Make for the last three days and I wonder if it would make sense to have an option to pause after reasoning for the user to read and recommend changes or suggestions to their thinking. This feature will be off by default. Either you let it continue after reasoning, or suggest small changes in its reasoning or you stop and re-prompt.

Hello, I may need some assistance. It seems someone in application architecture at Figma forgot a core requirement for producing ALL design collateral. I’m speaking about Unit of Measure (UoM) and Resolution. The unit of measure should allow the selection of pixels, points, centimeters, inches, feet, yards, meters, etc. This is foundational for setting the overall canvas/frame/artboard dimensions. A must have. No debate. The resolution should convey the pixel density within the dimensions of the canvas/frame/artboard. That’s print. A must have. No debate. These are two of the most important settings for configuring a digital canvas. However, from what I’ve found poking around the internet, Figma thinks all designers work in Pixels and should rely on plugins, yes you heard that correctly. Figma suggest we use PLUGINS to manage these core settings. Come on? Really? What are you thinking? Oh, right, you aren’t.With 25 years of experience in information architecture, systems engineering, and

Please create a feature where the nodes can be collapsed. I’m on the brink of migrating from Mindmeister but FigJam can’t collapse nodes, so my large mind map will look so messy. I only tackle one subtopic at a time in my group meetings. Thanks in advance

Hi, Apologies if this question was asked before. How do we expand/collapse the nodes in a mindmap? Will be ideal to be able to do so, otherwise the mindmap gets too big thus having to constantly scroll left/right/top/down breaking the flow of the presentation. Thank you.

In short when you are building a library there are times a specific piece gets updated or we need to pull it from the library to reconfigure. To do that right now, we have to unpublish the WHOLE library and then go back in and re-publish each piece. As our library expanded that “republishing” of pieces becomes more and more tedious. If we just had the ability to “unpublish” a section (like how you can publish) that would make building and scaling a lot easier.

When working in figma in a tight laptop screen, it would be very helpful to have the figma UI be adjustable to be smi transparent like a frosted glass effect adjustable to the degree of how forsted/transparent it is. this will provide designers with more peripheral vision of the screen.

When users who don’t have full seats receive a link to a Figma file, the see this view (assuming they are authorized to view it).  At least half the people do not notice or don’t understand how to request access to dev mode or, if they already have permissions, to access Dev mode from here. The toast on the bottom ends up being a much stronger signal than incomprehensible “switch to dev mode” icon, so they click it. As a result, our admins get multiple Edit requests per day… This is problematic in multiple ways:Devs who were trying to get access to product specs and already have permissions, can’t so the work is paused or completed based on screenshots (trust me, it happens all the time) Admins of the organization are bombarded with Edit requests multiple times a day. They ignore these requests since we don’t add any designers on any cadence, but they still have to sort between reasonable Dev seat requests and Edit requests instead of adding devs in bulk There’s actually no way to chan
