Impossible to zoom out in slides

Smetanka

It’s just a disaster!
It is impossible to do anything with an illustration even slightly larger than the slide size.
Fun fact: the minimum zoom out depends on the browser width.

Hey All, sorry for the delayed reply!

We flagged this to the team, and they confirmed that this is currently the expected behavior. Zooming bounds will be relative to your window size/ratio. You can zoom out further in smaller window widths.

Same! Very annoying!

Hi there, If you are facing the slide zoom-out issue I think you can try to fitting large illustrations on your slide, and reduce your browser width to increase the zoom-out limit. This will let you see more of the illustration without resizing it.

Thank You,
Mike Taku.

Dat funny, thanks!
Also, we have a lot of alternatives, honestly, I just stop using it, have no time to this. It’s like Figma, but worse 🫣

Mike_Taku

Can you please tell us what alternatives you are using?

I started using Figma Slides today and ran into this issue. Why am I locked at 67%? I’d like to use more space on the Figma Board. Please, let the user choose a zoom level. I’d like all of my slides to be at a level less than 67%.

Reading the other replies, it seems I’m locked at 67% because I’m using Figma Slides in fullscreen on an external monitor. I’d like to have more space to put in objects and organize assets.

Doesn’t make sense to me. Thanks!

Maybe that can be adjusted, thank you for the response

This behaviour is madness. What kind of user story would specify it as expected?
