Many times, when I open the “Update from main” when I’m in a branch there are no action buttons to do anything. I do not know if there is something I need to do to get them visible, but they are just not there. Then other times the buttons are there and it’s easy to make the update. I am not sure what is going on.

I’ve run into the same issue. Usually, reloading the branch tab will fix it.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll make a dummy change in the main file, then reload the branch tab.
I’ve also noticed this happening more frequently lately. Just waiting a few minutes for the “Update from main” popup to appear sometimes works. Figma seems to be having increasing issues with performance.
