Why doesn't my drop down menu work?

I am doing a project on Figma in which I have to demonstrate drop down menus.

The hamburger and the Cities (upper righthand corner) dropdowns work because I had an expert make them while showing me how. But I still can’t make a drop down that works!

I tried to make the Venue dropdown (first button on the navigation bar) but when I click it, all of the buttons just flash once. No menu drops down under the Venue button.

Can anyone take a look and tell me what I’m doing wrong with the Venue drop down? https://www.figma.com/file/WYSTsygdRpkG3iw39LaMmQ/Project-11-(Copy)?type=design&node-id=0%3A1&mode=design&t=AsB0ixw13DYiWanm-1

I figured it out, FINALLY! I was doing the very last step incorrectly. I was copying and dragging the Venue button from the Component to the webpage I was creating.

The correct thing is to switch the lefthand Figma menu from “Layers” to “Assets” (it’s at the top of the menu) and then drag the Venue button from there to the webpage.

Hey there, the dropdown work for me. I have attached a screen recording. Could you send me a screen recording showing what you’re seeing on your end?

Hi, Gayani_S! Not the hamburger – I’m talking about the Venue button which is the first button in the navigation bar. I desperately need help. Can you tell what I’m doing wrong by looking at the back end?
