For several days now, my plugins are no longer displayed - the plugin list remains empty, as if I had not installed any.

When I click on “Manage plugins”, the message appears that I have no plugins installed.

But if I then click on “Browse plugins in Community”, all my previously installed plugins are shown as already installed.

I have already tried the following:



  • Uninstalled plugins and installed them again.

  • Tested in the app and in the browser version.

  • Quit the programme and restart the computer.

  • Waited one day


Last week, the plugins were suddenly loaded again (one after the other). Today they disappeared again.


Does anyone have the same problems and is there a solution?

I’m having the exact same problem - driving me nuts. Please let us know if you figure out how to fix this!

Apologies for the inconvenience!


We recently learned about an issue where members of Organizations that use plugin approve lists are still allowed to install unapproved plugins. As expected the plugins still fail to execute, but the apparent ability to install them is quite confusing.


We’re working on building out a notification to make this clearer, and in the meantime I suggest reaching out to an Organization admin who can share with you which plugins are approved and expected to execute normally.


We appreciate your patience as we get this resolved!

Any case anyone else has this issue, I just wanted to help out and say that I just had the same issue, then logging out & back in to the account completely resolved it!

Ran into this issue myself just now and was very surprised (the setting was turned on by accident) 🙈


A message in the Plugins menu modal like “Plugins are managed by your Organization” when the plugin approve list is enabled would be helpful 🙏 (paired with a more explicit note for the Org admin on that setting toggle, specifying that ONLY approved plugins will be available / currently installed plugins will be unusable)

My org does not use an “approved plugin list” and my plugins have disappeared this morning. Other team members can still see and access their plugins.

Dump Chrome and use Opera.


My company doesn’t use an approved list. This is a Chrome/Figma issue.


Plugins install just fine from Opera.

i am not part of an organization and this is apparently happening! this is infuriating.

Logging out then logging back in fixed it for me too. Nothing to do with Organisation, I’m on the Professional plan. Why are users resolving issues before Figma themselves?

My saved plugins keep disappearing as well. Sometimes they load when I restart Figma, but lately it hasn’t been showing at all. Please fix!
