What " Plan " does my company use?

If the team is on a professional plan, all editors will be on professional seats. There isn’t a way to mix and match different tiers of seating in an org overall.

Regarding how to tell what plan you’re on – there are different instructions on how to view/modify your seats.

Is there anyway to tell what plan does my company uses?

I believe this question is still not answered. How do I check which plan is my company on? Is it Organisation or Enterprise?

I am unable to find how to determine it deterministically within Figma. Is there a view that communicates this information?

What am I missing?

I am also trying to work this out. Did anyone find a way?

You should ask directly to your admin to check what plan your company/teams are on, your admin list is in the right-hand corner when you land on “all teams”/“all workspaces”.

Another workaround, as only Enterprise has workspaces. When you are in an Org, you’ll see “all teams” instead of workspaces when you switch to a particular space.
