Using Simple Design System UI Kit directly from a Figma file - but can't see or use any variables

You have to click into the component to choose a variant of it.

Hi @Luke-Itineris thanks for the reply! If this isn’t clear in the original post: I meant variables that one can access through the right side panel, as well as the list of styles there. You could see them when opening up the original Simple Design System UI Kit community file, but not directly in the new Figma file despite you can use this UI Kit directly in the new file. Not sure if this is expected.

Please share a link of the Community file you are talking about please. I can see variables on the right as well as styles.

@Luke-Itineris here you go. I can see variables and the styles within this community file too. It’s just when I tried to use this kit directly from another file (which is something Figma supports now with the latest feature release), I can only see/use components from the canvas.
