Using existing Components

Hello all,

I am a Figma beginner user, and I have a question.

If I have a design system and I want to use some components from it in my design, but I want to make them the main components, how can I do it?

Here is how I’ll would do it:

I would cut the components I want (cmd+x or ctrl+x)
Undo the cut (cmd+Z or ctrl+z) on my design system file
Paste on my figma file

When you cut & paste, it copy as a component 🙂
