Text styles need to be breaked to use auto width, auto height or other formatting functions

Hi all,

When I add a text style to a text box, the resizing options “auto width” and “auto height” are no longer available on the text box.

This is inconvenient for me because in my designed products the sizing rules of a textbox are dependent on the component it is placed into - not on the fact that it’s a H1 or H2 etc.

What is more, setting part of the styled text to bold will break the style. This is counterproductive because if I ever want to edit my text style the change won’t be applied to my paragraphs with a few bold words - - so the advantage of saving time is gone.

I want to keep my text styles because it could save me time, but I must use different resizing rules and bold, italic, etc. words.

Does anyone else struggle with this? Do you know any solution for this problem?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. If I understand correctly, I think you can find it by clicking the three dots next to the alignment selection. I attached the screenshots.
Resizing with text styles

Am I understanding the issue you are describing correctly? Please let me know if I’m missing any additional points. I want to make sure I am fully addressing your questions.

Thanks,
Toku
