Switch education plan to a paid professional plan after graduating

Hello everyone, I hope someone from Community Support can help me. Someone from Community Support has already helped me by sending me the expiration date of my education plan: 2025-02-08. Just checking if this means the 8th of February, 2025? 

I have a question regarding my education plan. Before it expires, I'd like to switch to a paid professional plan to retain all my projects and files. What's the best way to do this? Is it possible to convert my education plan into a paid professional plan? If so, can I change the associated school email (which I no longer have access to) to a personal one? Or would it be better to create a new account and assign my projects to that account?

    You're correct about the expiration date. When an education plan expires, you have two options:

    1. Upgrade your education team to a paid Professional team (Upgrade to a paid plan)
    2. Let your team revert to the Starter plan, which has limited features (Figma plans and features). You can transfer your files and projects if you choose to stay on the Starter plan (Move a file).

    If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your Figma account for your education teams, I recommend submitting a support ticket. Our support team will assist you with updating your account information. You can do so here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360005944714
    When you submit the ticket, please make sure to include the following information:
    - Use the email address associated with your Figma account
    - Indicate that you no longer have access to the email address linked to your Figma account
    - Supply an alternative email address for communication

    For other community members who still have access to the email linked to your account, please refer to this link: Manage email address or password
