hi everybody. I’m trying to add fonts to the web version of Figma, install FigmaAgent, everything is fine. But fonts are not enabled in the panel, the message local fonts are currently not enabled. I tried to turn on WebGL - it didn’t help. My Mac is HighSierra 10.13.6. Chrome Browser

Thank you for the reply @dvaliao . I just deleted the fonts out of my font book, re - downloaded helvetica neue and installed it while Figma agent was running. I quite chrome and reopened it - no user installed fonts and no helvetica. Did the same thing again without the Figma agent running, and started it after installing, with the same result. Is there a way I can download a version of the app that works with 10.13? Thank you!

Hey @Ian25, thanks for the additional context.

I’ll pass this onto the team to investigate.

We don’t offer links to previous versions of the Figma app, but other users in the community may be able to help you.

Here’s an example topic:

Hi, apologies if this is not the correct place to post this, but I have the same problem in which all my fonts have disappeared. Working perfectly previously, last used a few days ago. Using Figma Browser.

Im fairly new to Figma but i’ve searched the community posts and tried everything suggested. Restarted mac, Figma agent running etc.

No fonts are appearing despite my Font Book on MacBook filled with fonts, even downloaded a new font to test.

Can see the font names when i click on a already made text box in one of my previous Figma Files/projects but cannot edit and Cannot type in a new text box.

I have posted a Q in the community but thought I would add it here also in case this is a bug that can be amended.

Hey @IamAmir, sorry to hear you’re having trouble!

Could you try reinstalling the Figma font installer?

If that doesn’t work, can you also check your Font Book and double-check that the fonts you’ve installed have been validated? Simply right-click to show the menu below:

From there, be sure to click “Validate Font”.

Having the same issue. Only happens in Brave (Chromium based) browser, have also tried updating the browser. Local fonts are able to load on Safari and in Figma Desktop.

Hey @sleepy, thanks for following up!

This is likely a new issue with fonts using Brave. We’ll pass this info along to the team. Since local fonts are able to load in Safari and using the desktop app for you, as a workaround, we suggest using one of these alternative until we’re able to repro the issue on Brave and work on a fix.

Having same issue today…trying to install the “Install Figma Agent.app” got only as far as being able to drag into my applications folder – then nothing- Mac OS X El Capitan – it the OS too old? All fonts in my font book and library.

Hi! I’m facing the same problem, but this time in the Figma app on Mac (MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2018, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1). The font (Satoshi) suddenly stopped working! I’ve reinstalled the font five times, reinstalled Figma along with all the additional files, but it still doesn’t work! The font itself is fine, I’ve been using it for two months without any issues before. Now it just suddenly stopped working. Figma doesn’t see it, but all other apps do. It doesn’t work in the browser version either. This font is the main one in my project, I cannot do anything now. Please fix it ASAP.

Hey @Jessica_Silva1, sorry to hear this!

Yes, Figma must be running on macOS 11 or later. Since El Capitan was macOS 10.11 and is no longer supported by Apple, this is likely the cause of your particular issue.
