hi everybody. I’m trying to add fonts to the web version of Figma, install FigmaAgent, everything is fine. But fonts are not enabled in the panel, the message local fonts are currently not enabled. I tried to turn on WebGL - it didn’t help. My Mac is HighSierra 10.13.6. Chrome Browser

Hey @Faith3, sorry to hear you’re having trouble accessing Satoshi!

Since the font is already installed on your computer, you’ll want to follow the instructions to Access local fonts on your computer.

If you’ve followed these instructions and are seeing the notification that Local Fonts are enabled in your Figma account settings, try going to your Font Book. Click on the font then right-click to show the menu below:

From there, click “Validate Font” to see if this resolves it. You can see more details in Apple’s Font Book User Guide below:

I’m having this issue as well. Using the Figma app on macOS Sequoia 15.2. I definitely have the fonts installed and validated, but the app doesn’t recognize them. Sometimes it works, but then it doesn’t , and I can’t figure out why. It is infuriating. I’m on the newest version (124.7.4) of the Figma app.

Hey @Simon_A, sorry to hear this!

Since it does work sometimes, you might just need to clear your desktop app’s cache. Please let us know if that helps.

Hi, thanks for that suggestion; it didn’t work, unfortunately. Any other suggestions would be amazing.

Hello, I have a really big and incredibly annoying problem! Installed fonts are not available in Figma Desktop or Figma in the browser (Chrome). I’ve tried almost everything — I’m not exaggerating!

— Reinstalled Figma? Yes
— Reinstalled the fonts? Yes
— Reinstalled Figma Agent? Yes
— Cleared the cache? Of course
— Restarted MacBook? Absolutely
— Validated fonts in Font Book? Done

Nothing is working!

And the funniest part? Figma in the browser says the fonts are enabled, yet it still shows the yellow warning sign: “Font not available!” (See screenshot.)

Any suggestions? I really hope you’ve got one!

Don’t hold your breath waiting in this one.  You will die and figma will just be in your imagination.
