I’ve been using Figma for several years but suddenly today, I am no longer able to edit my designs. I have to ‘request edit access’ with our administrator (who should be me). Seems like I’ve been hacked but maybe it’s user error. I tried emailing Figma but weirdly they automatically responded and asked me to post here.

Sounds like you just logged in to the wrong account by accident. Perhaps you used password & email previously but logged in using google account this time.
