Issue with changing email after removing Google SSO

Trying to change your email just the worst user experience ever! After deactivating Google SSO and updating the email in settings, then confirming the email address by clicking on the link in the mail it creates a brand new account on that email!!?? I’m at a loss for words and had to give up the process.

Hey @Brian_Akermann - apologies for any issues with swapping your emails.

While I can’t say for certain what happened or went wrong, I can get you connected to someone on the support team who can assist with getting your existing account migrated to the newest email correctly.

Can you PM me the original email of your account, and then the new one you want it moved to? I’ll get a ticket started for you. I wasn’t quite sure if you were looking to just remove SSO > plain login with email, or if there was a 2 accounts issue.
